Step 1. Please call our team on 0432 781 188 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday to book in for your first online session, or book online through our website.
Step 2. Once the initial session has been created online or by phone we will contact you by email to confirm the time and date of the first initial session. The email will also provide hyperlinks so that you can access the virtual waiting room on the specified time and date of the consultation.
Step 3. Use the links provided by email to access the Microsoft Teams waiting room on the time and date of the first initial session. Our psychologists will be waiting and the online initial consultation will begin.
All Australians can assess 10 medicare rebates each calendar year with a Psychologist through Telehealth.
After your session, we process the payment and also your Medicare Rebate (using your GP referral, also called a Mental Health Treatment Plan) which means you are only left with $90 out of pocket. Total session fees are $179.65 with a rebate of $89.65
You'll need to book an appointment with a GP so that they can create a MHCP or D904 form for you. During this consultation the doctor will need to obtain the following;
1. Name of the Psychologist: Mr Paris Waters
2. Name of your psychologist's practice: My Online Psychologist Australia
3. Address of the practice (even though the sessions will be conducted online): 11 Boree St, Ulladulla NSW 2539
4. Psychologists email address: hello@myonlinepsychologist.au
Please feel free to take a screen shot of this information so that you have it on your phone during your GP consultation.
You will have your session using an online platform called Microsoft Teams which allows people to have secure and private meetings over the internet. Simply click on a link that would have been sent to you by email and you'll automatically be taken to your online psychologists "waiting room".
If you can receive a MHCP or D904 form, please ask your GP's admin to send it by email hello@myonlinepsychologist.au prior to your appointment. Alternatively, please send us a scanned copy by email to the same email address.
Your psychologist will process your payment after your session using direct debit or payID. The Medicare rebate will then be managed by the client using their online MyGov account, using the information outlined in the My Online Psychologist paid invoice. The rebate is then processed by Medicare within 24 hours.
Yes I am SIRA accredited and can work with people who have psychological workplace injuries or people who have developed psychological injuries after sustaining a physical injury at work. You would need to consult with your GP and then ask that they refer you to me using the contact details mentioned above. I would then seek reimbursement from your insurer and you would have no out of pocket expenses.
Yes I have many years experience working with defense and ex-defense personnel and have white card accreditation. Once we have commenced treatment, you need to obtain a D904 referral from your GP, I would then seek financial reimbursement from DVA for each psychological session (you can choose between 20 minute and 50 minute sessions) and you would have no out of pocket expenses.
